Mammoth week thanks to Marvel:

DCU Decisions #4 – I haven’t picked up #3 yet but I’ll probably just grab them both at the same time.

Final Crisis: Rage of the Red Lanterns – I may not be too enamored of a rainbow of Lanterns but this is something I’m looking forward to as Johns has a way of making little moments shine in the big stuff.

Justice League of America #26 – Last issue was a huge improvement over the previous 24 issues so I’ll give it another shot.

Legion of Super-Heroes #47 – It’s painful to watch the end of yet another Legion era, but I’m here till the bitter end.

Superman #681 – New Krypton is shaping up to be fun (aside from the whole disappearing marriage thing).

Trinity #22 – This is much more enjoyable without the Trinity actually in it.

Amazing Spider-Man #575 – Hammerhead’s a bit of an old favorite of mine so glad to see him back.

Amazing Spider-Man Annual #1 – Jackpot!

Astonishing X-Men Ghost Boxes #1 – Fills in the delays between the regular book. I’ve got some faith in Ellis so I’ll be picking it up.
Avengers The Initiative #18 – Don’t have a lot of faith in the Crusader making it through…

Incredible Hercules #122 – Hercules. Namor. Awesome squared.

Marvel 1985 #6 – Still think this will read well as a whole even if certain continuity things annoy the crap out of me. Maybe they’ll be explained away at the end. Maybe.

Nova #18 – One of Marvel’s top books – now with added Quasar! The REAL Quasar!

Secret Invasion Thor #3 – Surprisingly good and accessible to someone not reading the regular Thor book.

Secret Invasion X-Men #3 – A bit hectic, but pretty good.

Wolverine Origins #29 – First issue I’ve picked up since #1. A crossover with X-Men Legacy. Last week, that oddly had more Wolverine than Xavier – wonder if that’ll reverse for this issue?

X-Force #8 – I can’t defend how much I like this book.

Proof #13 – Now with extra Savage Dragon!

I’m a bit disappointed by the storytelling of the 1985 miniseries…for such an overwhelmingly fun, nostaligic concept it really fell flat for me. But I like the art enough, and I’m LOVING the covers enough, to want to slog through the whole thing.

Anxy – I’m with you. 1985 has felt like a missed opportunity, but the covers are AMAZING.
