A whole new Nova

Starting in Nova #23, Rich Rider has a new look that’s decidedly familiar…


Looking forward to it – Nova, along with Guardians of the Galaxy, is one of my favorite books every month these days. In fact now that I think about it, my favorites are almost entirely books that are viewed as second-string.

Wonder why? Is it the perception that more can happen in, say, Nova than in Mighty Avengers? That there’s more risk of change, more freedom to do something that stretches and explore the character?

Maybe so – whatever, I do wonder what that costume says for the recently resurrected Wendell Vaughn…

    Couldn’t agree more – my favourite (remaining) Marvel titles are Nova, Guardians and Captain Britain. Wouldn’t touch the Avengers with a bargepole these days!
