The Mighty Thor cast?

You’ve probably heard that Chris Hemsworth – George Kirk Sr in the latest Star Trek movie – has apparently been cast as Thor in the upcoming Marvel flick directed by Kenneth Branagh.


I can see it, actually – Hemsworth made a good impression during his brief screentime in Star Trek, and he certainly seems pretty imposing physically.

That aside, I still stand by all my other casting for Thor (aside, I guess from Scarlett Johanson who’s unlikely to be pulling double Marvel duty as the Black Widow and Amora).
Most especially though, I stand by my Odin:
