After a couple of weeks that were very heavy, we’ve finally got a light week!

Batman #690 – This has been pretty entertaining under Winick, and I’m very much on board with Dick as Batman.

Justice League: Cry for Justice #3 – This, I have to admit, is more to laugh about it than any other reason. I can only assume James Robinson is writing badly on purpose, because he’s certainly capable of doing a hell of a lot of better than this.

Magog #1 – A series I can’t imagine anyone asked for – but the creative team of Giffen and Porter is pretty damn good.

Supergirl Annual #1 – The origin of Superwoman; any chance we’ll get any word on Lucy Lane’s missing baby? Probably not.

Agents Of Atlas #10 – I was going to bow out after #8, but the news that the series is ending then continuing in the backup in Hercules’ book made me come back for the end of the run.

Essential Sub-Mariner Vol 1 - Oh yes.

Invincible Iron Man #17 – This is now dragging somewhat – but it’s still a pretty damn good book. Wish the guy who wrote this was writing X-Men instead of that other guy.

Torch #1 – Maybe…I’ve always liked Jim Hammond but I’m not sure he can really support his own series.

Buffy #28 – Nothing inspiring to say about this comic any more. It’s just there, that’s all.

Proof #23 – The finale of the Julia arc. Not really feeling the comic recently, but I’ll probably soldier on if only because of how astonishingly well researched the comic is. Go look up Julia Pastrana for the full, horrifying truth about this arc’s central character.
