This may be the first time in quite a while that Marvel only has one book – but DC have quite a few. Unheard of!

AMAZING SPIDER-MAN # 617 – The Gauntlet rumbles on; I think this arc is the return of the Rhino, but I could be mistaken. I do love the classic villains, so I’m looking forward to this.

ACTION COMICS #885 – I’m still enjoying the combined continuity of the superbooks – but I still couldn’t care less about Nightwing and Flamebird.

ADVENTURE COMICS #6 – Johns and Manapul say goodbye to Superboy after four issues. That was certainly a run to get excited about, wasn’t it? Too soon to move on, guys, especially to the Barry Allen Flash

BATGIRL #6 – Still ridiculously enjoyable. It seems so rare to see a superhero who isn’t driven by tragedy these days. Steph is a breath of fresh air – she’s had some bad things happen to her character, but they don’t seem to keep her down.

BOOSTER GOLD #28 – So BN is gone and I’m still here – at least until the change in creative teams. Jurgen makes this book and moving him off it seems counter-productive to me.

R.E.B.E.L.S. #12 – This has been a bit of a disappointment for me, failing to recapture the early days of L.E.G.I.O.N. and failing to live up to Marvel’s equivalents, Nova and Guardians of the Galaxy – so consider it struck off.

TITANS #21 – Oh, I can’t defend myself on this. Move along.
