The Pull List – 3rd February 2010

Well, I haven’t got to the store for last week on account of being in the UK (and yes, I know there are comic stores here too – I was in a couple in Manchester on Saturday, Forbidden Planet and Traveling Man, but I don’t see the point in spending more money to buy comics and fly them back over to where I could get them cheaper) – but here’s the pull list for the week!

Red Robin #9 – Continues to be one of the two Batman family books that I still get. Good solid fun – but I suspect it may end up as a trade pick pretty soon.

Superman: World of New Krypton #12 – This has been a pretty good series, especially in conjunction with the other Superbooks. Not too sure about the upcoming War of the Supermen, though…

Deadpool Team-Up #896 – I don’t want to talk about it.

Marvel Heartbreakers – This sounds like it could be fun but it depends on the creative talent. Even so, I’ll give it a look.

Nova #34 – I don’t know how many times I need to say it: great superhero book.

Siege #2 – The first issue of this felt like almost pure set-up. Bendis really needs to deliver quickly.

Buffy The Vampire Slayer #32 – I wonder who Twilight i – what? Stupid internet…
