In 1917, US now in the war, the Canadian's poem is set to music, one sheet music even displaying the Philip Lyford painting of doughboys,"Flanders Fields" that will be taken over by Bauer & Black for Liberty Bond, posters, magazine advertising such as the one in the Ladies' Home Journal Nov. 1918, full colour in an otherwise black and white publication, complete with errors re McCrae, mis-titling, and a plea to continue to make sacrifices as these US soldiers were doing in Belgium - little knowing the Armistice would be achieved so soon.
